A free trip to London? Yes, please. Magic? Of course. A car ride trapped with a wicked witch? Um, actually, I think I’ll pass.

Mimi wishes she could pass, but unfortunately, she’s going to have to see this through. She promised her mom she’d help her great aunt (aka the wicked witch) and she’s not one to break her promises.

Genre: urban fantasy, family, young adult

Short Story

Mimi has been practicing magic her whole life. She’s talented for a self-taught witch, but she’s always wanted a mentor. Her Great Aunt Imogen just happens to be a legendary magic user and teacher; not that Mimi would know. Imogen has ignored Mimi her whole life – that is until she needs her help. Mimi hops on the train to London reluctant to face the mystery that is her great aunt, more of a wicked witch than the sweet old woman you’d hope for.
